Edmonton devMEET - October 21st

reports, October 7, 2006We're in the process of organizing a devMEET for Edmonton, Canada. This will occur on the 21st of October and will probably start sometime in the morning and run throughout the afternoon.
What we know right now:
- Please wear a halloween costume. (I think =amoryllis is dressing me up as Jack Sparrow or some sort of pirate.)
- Be prepared to buy or bring a lunch. Maybe we'll hit up a food court.
- deviantART is supplying subscription prizes care of $lolly. Details yet to come.
Keep your eyes glued on ~EdmontonMeet as the details unfold over the next few days!

It’s all going to start at 11AM at West Edmonton Mall. We may go elsewhere too so be prepared to go outside! (this means dress warmly!) We're going to meet up at the pirate ship to go along with Patgroove's costume! (That’s the pool with the seals if any of you didn't know that) Not sure where that is? Either ask us or show up at the mall early and ask for directions. Patgroove will probably be wearing his original dA shirt (or his costume), and Amoryllis will likely be in costume so you should have no problems finding us!
After we all meet we’ll make a plan. Not sure how to make a plan? No problem. We’ll figure that out.
We’ll hang out at the ship for 30 mins to make sure you’re all there. PLEASE tell us by note if you won’t make it for 11 and we’ll share cell numbers. No worries! If you want to eat, then plan on going to a food court or bringing a lunch. We’re cool with either.
Oh, and bring a costume! If you don’t you may not win many of many dA prizes sponsored by deviantART! If you don't come costumed, be prepared be be so by your peers in some form or another!
For those of your with cameras, they are encouraged so bring them if you have them!

Hunters have been known to lose limbs while attempting to 'play tag' with their prey...DO NOT PLAY TAG WITH HUNGRY GRYPHONS! YOU MAY BE SUSCEPTABLE TO LOST LIMBS. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
I am a student with limited funds and I don't think I can afford to buy or rent a "costume". Are there any alternatives? :/
