Surrealism is an artistic, cultural and intellectual movement oriented toward the liberation of the mind by emphasizing the critical and imaginative faculties of the "unconscious mind" and the attainment of a dream-like state different from, "more than", and ultimately "truer" than everyday reality: the "sur-real", or "more than real".

Surrealism is what happens in your dreams. Surreal art is art that has a dream-like quality, not based on reality. There is usually a lot of hidden symbolism in surreal art, though not always.

Yep! However, if you wish to add us into your journal and get the word out about us, we won't stop you! After all, the more people that know about the club, the more times your art can be seen!

Easy! We just opened up submissions to all members! Each member is allowed 1 submission in our gallery. However, you may change this submission. All you do to submit is to send a note, with the title "Submit" or "Change Submission" if you have a previous submission to the club.
Link to your submission, and give us a link to your previous submission in our gallery so we may remove it.
This is to make our gallery more of a gallery than a mass pile of surreal art.
Because you are only allowed 1 submission, it is best to choose the one that you feel best represents your work.
