Dead Silence Movie Contest Winners

$lolly:iconlolly: reports, Mar 15, 2007
From the writer and director of the international phenomenon Saw comes an experience on the razor's edge of fear, Dead Silence. There is an old ghost story in the sleepy town of Ravens Fair about Mary Shaw, a ventriloquist who went mad. Accused of the murder of a young boy, she was hunted down by vengeful townspeople who cut out her tongue and killed her. They buried her along with her "children," a hand-made collection of vaudeville dolls.

Why Branding Isn't Bad

a deviant's deviation makes it into TIME!!!!

Linerider Takes World By Storm!

If you haven't seen

by *fsk

You better go check it out now because it is kicking some ass and taking some names. We got a call here at DA HQ at damn near quitting time last night from none other than TIME!!! Asking questions about that particular deviation!

From the article

"Line Rider is becoming one of the most popular flash games on the web. Part Jackass stunt, part physics lesson, Line Rider encourages users to "draw" their own ramps, hills, and slopes with a pencil tool, then sends a virtual sledder (wearing a red scarf) along the route until he swoops, swerves and crashes. Build an elaborate enough course and you'll feel like a little kid playing in the snow again, zooming downhill, popping up in the air, wiping out on a ramp jump a la Evel Knievel."

To read the full article check it out here and then go congratulate *fsk on this undeniably devious accomplishment!

I came across that deviation a few weeks ago and was instantly addicted. It's just good old fun.

You should see how many YouTube videos there are. It's quite popular.

This is good for dA and more importantly, a designer/programmer *fsk His contribution brought TIME's attention to the community at large. Maybe there will be more exposure for dA as a result. This was made a front-page story on Digg.com as well: [link]
