Deviant Artists! It is with great pride, and an exuberance of energy that I announce to you the "Good Girls" contest. First off, I'd like to offer three quotes from three women for inspiration, then on to the rules!
Good girls go to heaven, bad girls go everywhere.

Here are the rules!
Rule 1) The picture must portray "real women". For a lot of you in the size acceptance community this will be big beautiful or plus size women. "Real women" could also describe other types of women struggling to be seen or heard as the "real women" that they are. Use your imagination. Surprise us!
Rule 2) The piece must be a new deviation made to fit in one of three visual art categories. This is going to be a purely visual art contest. I'm going to personally donate DA Subscriptions or Print account to three winners: one in each category and people are still free to donate additional prizes, prints, or journal features.
Here are the three categories. Keep in mind, all submissions must conform to DA policies.
~~~~Photography
Any photograph you personally took and to which you maintain rights.
Slight digital touch ups and watermarks are acceptable.
~~~~Traditional Art
Artwork which is done with traditional drawing, painting or printmaking media. Slight digital touch ups and watermarks are acceptable.
~~~~Digital Media and Photo Manipulation
Any artwork primarily created on a computer or any digital photo-manipulation from stock photography that you used with permission.
Rule 3) In order to have your submission entered you MUST both put a note on this journal with a link to your entry AS WELL AS put a link on your entry that says it is an entry for the "Good Girls" contest with a link to this journal.
All submissions MUST be entered by December 20th, and the winners will be announced by December 25th! Entries will be placed into the bottom of this journal by date submitted however. So in order to get the most exposure for yourself and your artwork submit as soon as it is completed.
Your judges will be the following people (with hopefully one more to join us. I have asked her, but am waiting for a response). Judges are allowed to contribute to group of works that come out of this artistic challenge, and their art will be displayed along side the submissions, but will not be chosen as winners.
