How To Make, Edit and Delete Journals

Making a new journal entry is really easy, all you need to do is to click on the Update Journal link that can be found on the top right part of your userpage, in the deviantART main page or in the Quick Menu (the small deviantART logo that's right next your username in every page.. under the big deviantART header).
In the Update Journal page you'll also find a list of your previous journals, so if you want to delete or edit them simply click on the link next to the journal title you're interested in editing/deleting (There's no way to delete them all at once.. so if you want to delete all your journals you'll have to do it one by one!).

Journals Features for Subscribers Only

All subscribers are able to:

• Add images in their journals simply using the image HTML tag (<img src="URL of the image" alt="description of the image" /> )


• Add thumbs of deviations and prints (if you don't know how to make a thumb please check the FAQ #80: Can I add thumbnails to my journal? and FAQ #273: Can I add a print thumbnails to my journal?)


• Centre images and text using the div HTML tag (<div align="center">your text</div> )


• Personalise their journals with CSS (this one is available for senior members unsubscribed too)

Journals For Non Subscribers
We see lots of people in the Help Forum asking how to make links of avatars to make a list of their friends in their journals. This is really simple. All you have to do is to use the :iconusername: code (replacing username with the username of your friend) as explained in the FAQ #81: How can I make links to other deviants, deviations, or websites?.
