Welcome to the third issue of Beautiful Ideas, a weekly feature for conceptual imagery.
This week theme is
"Dark Art" and we are going to focus specially in Digital Art.
What's the definition of "Dark Art"? According to
Wikipedia it is:
"Primarily a product of the 20th Century, dark art is an art style defined as that being "dark" or unsettling in nature. Called and classified under many names such at gothic, horror, metaphysical, nightmarish, and disturbing, it is actually a culmination of techniques and styles. It has been presented in many forms by many artists, illustrators and film-makers. It continues to grow in popularity as a part of the horror genre and gothic, music & publishing culture. Today, it a part of our mainstream culture, crossing over into multiple mediums including advertising, television, film, and marketing. While it has roots in horror, it has been presented in collage, surrealism, abstract, motion graphics, grunge, expressionism, and largely digital art."
So knowing that, let's gonna enter in this obscure world of art and discover the good things we can find on it.
Remember that the goal of this Article is to show conceptual and aesthetic artworks. You can find more information about all the info relating to what a conceptual artwork is reading the first Issue of Beautiful Ideas:

And now, the features!:
"Hurt" by
~K1lgore is an amazing abstraction of a feeling. You can feel the intentions of the artist and sense the pain of being hurt just taking a look to the impressive imagery of this dude. Worth a look!
"Love" is one of the most important feelings we can have, but that doesn't mean that the resulting image has to be full of joy and bright colours. The work of
~arlek-in is completely outstanding full of conceptual images that for sure will please your eyes!

Although quite minimal,
"Drift through the loneliness... by
~bucz is a piece full of sadness and loneliness indeed. The empty spaces transmit you a powerfull feeling.

Another clever and smart photomanipulation with a powerfull meaning,
"Worthless tears" by
~czas.
"Night Training" by
*kisskornel is a dreammy image with an interesting composition. Doesn't remind this you something?
^zilla774 is already a well-known deviant and also a gallery director but I couldn't resist to feature

Grungue, minimal and mysterious,
"Affection" by
~Trafial is a real mesmerizing piece. Don't hesitate in check out the gallery of this amazing artist!
