I hereby challenge myself to create 15 or more Photoshop Tutorials!
What does this mean to you?
I need your help in suggesting topics for my tutorials.
Why should you help?
Everyone who makes a suggestion automatically goes in the running for a 3 month subscription to dA! Plus the top 3 suggestions as voted by me will win a one year subscription to dA each!
Also, should your suggestion be used by myself to create a tutorial you'll receive a feature here in my journal, as well as have your account permanently linked in the description of the deviation!
Are there any restrictions?
Yes. Unfortunately I am not an uber Photoshop guru who can do anything and everything. Suggestions are limited to the following:
- Must relate to Photoshop, Photoshop tools, techniques, tips & tricks, effects, etc.
- Must not be a request for a walkthrough.
- Should be digital art related, keeping in mind I have limited skills beyond photomanipulation.
Suggestions relating to digital painting/drawing, vectors, CG and other related digital art forms will be accepted, although your chances of winning are limited due to my lack of expertise in these areas.
There is no limit to the number of suggestions you can make. Suggestions are taken on a first in, best dressed basis.
How can you participate?
To make a suggestion leave a comment on my journal, or send me a note.
All accepted suggestions will be listed here.
Remember, this is a challenge, and as such should be challenging for me. The point of this challenge is to help me learn new things and teach others at the same time.
Any promotion of this challenge would be much appreciated, as would any prize donations. Closing time for suggestions is yet to be determined.

I've tried pursuing happiness. Happiness sought a restraining order.
This is a request for input from members of the community whom may wish for specific resources which I can provide.
This challenge will not only assist me in my own endeavour of self improvement, but will create resources for the community in the form of photoshop tutorials at the same time promoting creativity and competition by offering prizes for other deviants.
As such, this article/competition/project is automatically targeting the following demographics:
- Digital artists
- New Photoshop users
- Advanced Photoshop users
- Unsubscribed deviants
- Subscribed deviants who's subscriptions are ending
- And anyone else who would benefit from a specific Photoshop tutorial, subscription or exposure.
So, apart from the fact that this is for both myself AND the community at large, as well as being posted in the Contests & Projects section of the news where it belongs, do you have any valid arguements as to why this should not have been posted?
