Conceptual photography is one of the categories of photography I feel is most overlooked. Conceptual photos sometimes don't initially catch the eye, and it is hard to grasp the depth of a conceptual photo from looking at a thumbnail. I hope you will take time to look through these beautiful photos and experience the ideas and concept they have to offer!

I agree, conceptual photos are often overlooked and not understood, but to me they are often the images with the most feel and soul to them.

I agree with Scott. It's the conceptual photos that truly allow a photographer to convey the ideas that they find important. Being able to do so in ways such as those above takes a certain amount of brilliance that I have grown to deeply respect.

Good thoughts. Thank you for bringing them up. I think conceptual photography takes more planning and perhaps in some ways is harder to do. More so, some of my favorite photographers incorporate a concept into every photograph they take even though you wold not classify their work as conceptual. Look at the work of Eisenstadt, a photojournalist, and you can see a concept in most all of his photographs. In fact this is true of your own photos. I think it is why I like your work so much. There is a little concept in all of them. 8)
