Big Info about our Plan:We (a friend of mine and I) had a great idea for the dA community. We want to start the biggest „new years eve countdown“ here on dA. For that, we founded a new club event called „happynewyear.
It's not really a club, it's an event.
The "basic Idea" is to celebrate one Month until the New Year.
Do you know what we mean?
We‘d like the community to submit art that makes the countdown.
For example: We start on December 1st. So we want as many as possible deviations with a „31" in it. The best Deviation with a 31 will be in displayed in our Gallery then. On December 2nd we want „30s". It doesn't matter whether they're Photos or digital arts... We‘ll feature every sent-in deviation in our journal so every watcher can see, whats going on.
So, when it's over (we hope) we have a Gallery with all the december days.
To make it more interesting, we‘ll start a contest, starting on dec. 1st. We thought something with Themes.
Maybe one contest every week, we have to look, we're not rich
. The winner gets a 1 year subscription sponsored by us (or if dA supports this...).
To choose the winner, we start a poll in our journal after we made a pre-selection of the best works. Second place gets a 3 months sub and third place gets a 1 month subscription. During this contest/countdown were giving prizes away (weekly) like mousepads and stuff. This will keep this whole thing more interesting.
Please feel free to ask us anything you want, if youre interested in this. A reply in any way would be great.
