The special "blue-blend" reagent of the SX-70 BLEND yields strong and absolutely fascinating results - which are vibrant and convincing with intensive contrasty colors and shades.
Compared to the Original, the new SX-70 BLEND has brighter whites, more vibrant colors, less pastel tones and stronger contrast. Each shot takes up to 4 minutes to develop - giving a stronger and more even impression to your image. SX-70 BLEND was not invented to copy the original but to create something new. Here you have it - a Polaroid film with outstanding characteristics and professional quality for all photographers who love their classic SX-70 cameras.






My View

I have helped to develope the final product, assisted in color and tone-decisions, following some parts of the process, going out and testing the sample-films for my office, sharing my views. Personally I am very satisfied and proud to have slightly taken part in the process of creating a new Polaroid film.
In my eyes the film is not trying to replace or beat the legendary discontinued sx70/Time Zero but simply adds a new facet and thus a maybe even rings the bell for a new era to the Polaroid medium, which is experiencing a new hype among those who want more than digital work.
