Photo-Hut Snowscape Photography Contest

reports, December 4, 2006One of the most distinctive features of winter in colder climates is snow. While some people love snow and others may loathe it, few deny that snowscapes can make for some great photographs.
For this contest, we at =Photo-Hut want to see your best landscape photo in a snowy environment. Put on your snow pants, wrap up in a scarf, and get to it!
Here are some examples of snowscapes:
Rules:
•The image must be a landscape photo with snow.
•The photo MUST be Appropriate. We do NOT submit any Parental Advisory Images, if it has the marker it will not be submitted.
•You need to be a member of =Photo-Hut to submit, and remember these should be to the best of your ability.
•We will quote you with all submissions by adding your name and a link to the Original in the description.
•In case of less than 3 submissions to a contest then there will be no vote and the founder/admins will be choosing the winner.
•No matter how much we like you, your image will be disqualified if it does not meet the rules.
•[1] entry per person per contest
•The photo does NOT need to be new for the contest.
•Photoshop tweaking is allowed within reason, as are HDRs so long as they are not excessively tone mapped. Photo manips are not.
To Enter: -Submitting is OPEN-
Send a note to =Photo-Hut in the following format:
SUBJECT: contest entry: snowscapes
BODY: Leave a note with a link to the submission and your authorization for =Photo-Hut to use it.
Submitting Ends December 31st.
If you're a member already, get to submitting, if not, check out one of the best photo clubs on DA (almost 800 members strong) at =Photo-Hut .
