Alright, so this week's DD-worthy selections involve otherworldly video game bees, a playful version of Death, & some twisted toy designs, among other things. But one thing they all have in common (aside from being very impressive) is that each of their artists each walk out of here with a Golden Fefcaine Award in the end:
...My little symbol of amazing artwork with the milk chocolate center. Comes with optional
commentary if desired.
So by now, I guess some of you may have heard of this "Featured Artists" trend going around members' journals. Basically, how it works is that a member features some works by ten other members who are the first to comment, then those members each feature ten artists who comment, & so forth.
Well, I guess I wanted to be included somehow, so I made the comment in ~
Kyohtee's journal & got featured. But I
already feature nine artists a week, so how do I work around the second part of this (especially since the stuff I feature has to be DD-worthy in one way or another)? Kyohtee says it doesn't matter, but...
Well, I'm going to feature ten artists next week anyway...But with my own unique twist. ^_^
Here's how it goes:
The first ten people to comment either here or in my journal can pick a piece that they like & think is DD-worthy, & I'll feature it here next week. And of course, any of those members will be given full credit for their suggestions, as well as maybe something extra...
Okay, simple concept, but I guess I should mention a few rules:
- The amount of faves, the artist's popularity, the date, etc., doesn't matter this time around. However (& obviously), don't suggest anything that already has a DD.
- Please don't suggest anything that I've already featured as well (although there's probably a small chance of that happening).
- You don't need to suggest your piece in your comment (unless you want to). Just comment first, then suggest later.
- You also don't have to explain why you think whatever you pick is DD-worthy (unless once again, you want to).
- And you don't need to feature ten artists yourself afterwards unless - yet again - you want to.
- Oh, & I'll probably pick more than ten suggestions anyway if I get enough (probably twenty max). Why not?
...Well, that's pretty much it. Hope this little twist works out, & I hope I get some good suggestions as well! ^_^
...Oh yeah, I guess I should also get on with the actual Mini-DDs already. Well, here we go!
