I decided that, instead of doing individual features every week in my journal, doing one big one with all my friends would be a good idea! Check it out to see if you are featured here and to see some great artists you should definatly check out.
We want to know what love means to you!
Get your creative juices flowing and design a movie poster for "Paper Heart" that focuses on the theme "What Does Love Mean to Me?".
In response to new features: The dA community stands up to preserve itself and deviously denies further separation between general members and subscribers. Gift givers express dislike for violation of their privacy.
The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!
Inspired by Trudi Canavan's "The Black Magician Trilogy" =liam-stock and =Staub-und-Schatten produced stock images with the theme "Black Magic" for you to bring fantasy and magic to life.
A horror photography art challenge to inspire the darker side of your creativity. This is a fun community project, not a contest, so its open to absolutely everyone regardless of dA status or skill/experience level. Click through to find out how you can join in...
The Unknown Artists Project is to expose talented, yet underrated, artists on deviantArt. In spirit of that goal, we will present to the community a monthly feature showcasing unknown artists in photography, traditional art, digital art and literature.
If you are using Internet explorer, you must right-click on the thumb and choose "Open in new window" and the deviation will appear, along with the artist's name. Please visit the FAQ to learn more about the Unknown Artists Project and how you can contribute to its success.

Le Liban fort, cest un Liban fort de sa démocratie, de sa liberté, de toutes ses institutions Un Liban qui pourra assurer à chaque citoyen vivant sur son sol, sécurité, liberté et égalité. B. Gemayel (24 Juillet 1982)
Plenty of great features again, though I wonder why so many of them have been DDs already. And I was hoping for a bit more variety in digital art. But overall this is another excellent issue. Strangely enough I commented on one of the featured prose pieces just a few hours before this article came out.
And yay for lit as always! Aditi, you have some interesting flash fiction and drabble chosen, and I'm enjoying reading your poetry selections, Sarah and Emily. I'm off for Christmas shopping now, but I'll be back to do more commenting!

Critiquing someone's prose or poetry is an awesome thing to do. The supremely awesome Mimesis 3 is available now!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
