This contest's been playing out in my head for a while, and I'm resorting my book shelves, so I'm interested to see how well it works.
If all goes well, I'll definatly do it again, more theme oriented.
I'm selecting a collection of nine deviations to chose from, three from my favourites, and two others from each of those catagories to feature.
Your task is to comment on any or all of these as thoroughly and helpfully as you possibly can.
Artisan Crafts/custom dolls:
My pick:

not only a neat concept, but I'm really impressed with the persistance it takes to make a doll out of that material.
Other choices:
Traditional Art/Drawings/People
My pick:

I'm in love with the vintage feel on this
Other picks:
Literature/Prose/Fiction/
My pick:

It's been almost two years since I read it, and it's still one of my altime favourite short stories
Other picks:
I'm hoping this will be sort of an early christmas present for the artists recieving the comments, so the deadline is rather soon:
12:00 pm pst on
dec 25
The grand prize winner will get their pick from the three books,
The first place winner will get their pick from one of the two remaining, and
The second place winner will get the remaining book if they want it.
Make sense?
Onto the prizes! the books to chose from are:
A hardcover copy of The Black Swan by Mercedes Lackey
A soft cover copy of Missing Mondy by Matthew Costello
A softcover copy of Guilty Pleasures by Laurell K Hamilton
Note me with the title Comments! followed by the titles of the deviations you commented on.
In the interests of making a nice surprise for somebody, I've kept this to recent or pretty much unnoticed deviations, for the most part.
You're encouraged to enter as many times as you like, but you can only win once, I'm afraid.
If I don't get three really outstanding comments from indevidual people, I reserve the right not to award prizes for the remaining "Neat!" comments.

"Ruin them. Wreck their lives. Then build them cubicles to end their days in. Hushaby. Lullaby. Die, dog. Little dog, die."
Going to lock this one, don't want to insight any turf wars..

Segata Sanshiro, Segata Sanshiro! Sega Saturn... shiro!
Even if they chase after sex, that petty pleasure
Their soul will remain hollow
Those who do not immerse themselves to the extreme in gaming
Will find their bodies beaten harshly!
