I think it's a little unfair to choose *enayla and `blackeri as a nominated. Everyone knows that they're the best and deserving for each possible award at dA in category "digital painting". I don't know people which wouldn't admire wonderful Marta and Linda.
I don't want to say: "they not deserve for award of *Future-Art-Magazine". Please, don't understand me badly. They deserve, of course, but what's with the others? I will always stand by people which are standing in the shadow of Big Talents, because they always feel a little bit uncertain about their talent.

I hope that people will choose a real, future talent, because there's a lot of talented people at dA and it's a "Future" Art Magazine, not ordinary magazine about eternal and obvious talent.

I was thinking the same and I spoke with Ida about that. So she decided to award eight nominees in each category instead of four.

My opinion is whether ALL top painters take part (in the same poll) to have a fair competition or none of them.

it is a dilemma... but to not nominate them at all isn't fair either - but discriminating..

and think to be that good and know that no-one want to nominate you cause you're too good?! Thast isn't fair either.

Besides it is YOU all that nominate too.. I wasn't the only one to nominate

I decided to go with 8 as some of the others have a chance too...

anyway I did as good as I could and placed the artists in the polls the order they arrived (and I will keep doing that) the minute I start tampering with the order of the artists as I see fit there willl be more people claiming it is unfair..

besides next year all people that 'won' won't be able to enter again.. so that eliminates some of the 'top ones' that won this year..

So, that's the good points I just wrote my fears.
I hope that one day the best artists are attach to the classics canon and leave the free road for another. Some of the best are deserving on it.
