Welcome to Lowtech
12.24.06 Issue
Happy Christmahannakwanzikah, or whatever you like to call it: It's December! The stores are packed to the brim with Candy-Canes, everyone's in a giving mood, the eggnog is flowing, the carolers are on the rampage, and its time for Lowtech's winter recap Newsletter!
If any of you don't know what Lowtech is: It's a club that features the traditional artists of dA with contests art prompts and even a tutorial account for those stuck in a rut. Traditional art isn't just pen and paper. We accept anything you can do without a computer, which means writing, film photography, and artisan crafts as well. So far most of our members are the pen and paper type, but who's complaining? You don't have to be a member to participate in our contests, or to take a look around our gallery.
We're glad to meet new people and check out what's going on around the galleries (the browse button is our best friend). If you have anything you think is important about the traditional art scene you want to tell us, just send a note.
