Welcome to the weekly Help Desk news. In these weekly updates we will attempt to bring you the most up to date information, as well as provide some helpful hints for super duper deviantART fun.
Hexe's Corner
This coming Friday (January 5th, 2007) the Help Desk Team will be launching a new weekly article, that will follow Thursdays weekly article entitled "weekly Help Desk Updates (date)". This article will also replace the "Bug Corner" section of this article, as it was greatly needed as it's own thing.
This new weekly article will be dubbed "Bug Juice Volume #" and will serve as
'the' current bug listing for users. This article will repeat the bugs weekly until each issue is resolved and any new ones will be added when they arise, when an issue is resolved the bug will be crossed off.
If you wish to check out these articles, all you need to do is visit the
News page, by clicking on the "News" link, located in the deviantART header and then browse to the Category (Help & FAQ), using the Categories button. Or you can check the
Status Forum for link mirrors to the articles.

This week I would like to remind everyone that the Help Desk does not answer Print related inquiries. Why you may ask? This is because we have a Prints Team that has been trained specifically to handle all of your print related needs. By using the
Prints Customer Care Desk this will ensure the most swift and accurate response to your inquiry.
Print related questions include but are not limited to:
Print Accounts
FTP
Wishlists
Print Orders
Submitting Prints
Shop Related Bugs
Before sending your inquiry please make sure that your email address linked to your account is up to date. Unlike the Help Desk that sends replies to you via comment the Print Customer Care Desk replies through emails. In order to verify you have the correct email address you will want to check your
settings page.
If you have checked to make sure your email is correct and you still do not receive a reply there might be a conflict with your email address. Sometimes a provider blocks our emails or sends them to the spam folder. If you have not received a reply to your ticket here is what you can do, if the email is not in your Spam or Bulk Mail folder.
1.) If your provider has a Spam or Bulk Mail setting you can try setting this to the lowest possible setting. Once done please request a new email be sent to it. If this does not clear up the issue, you will want to try the next step.
2.) If you have tried the above step or your provider has no Spam or Bulk Mail folder, you will want to contact the Help Desk by email via help@deviantart.com, for further assistance.
Weekly Tip
Did you know you can display your Favourites randomly on your userpage? You can, to do this, you will need to visit your
"Edit Profile" page; once on this page you will need to click on the 'User Page Display' tab. Next, while you are under the 'User Page Display' tab, locate the panel entitled "User Page Elements" and scroll down to the checkbox options, find the one stating "Make My Favourites Random" and check this checkbox; once done press on the 'OK' button at the bottom of the page. Your favourites will then be displayed on your user page randomly.
