I got this idea from ~photolitherland.

What I want to do is test your geography knowledge. When you view ~photolitherland's journal, as I'm sure you all will (Do this now! I command you!) you will get the general idea: I give you the picture, and you tell me the name of the place. Simple, yeah?

Nuh-uh.

See, ~photolitherland may have had this idea, but I'm expanding on it, mofo's.

There will be ten different journal entries with five pictures linked inside them. Select the hyperlink and view the scrap: then, write down where you think it is for later. Once you've named all five places, tell me your answer and it will be logged.

Rules! They are important, after all. You may use an atlas or program such a Google Earth. You may NOT post your answers in my journal: lets keep the answers secret form everyone. Instead, give me your answers as a note -- Any answers submitted to my journal will be deemed an instant disqualification for that round.

How do you win? Well. You win by having the most correct answers after the 10 rounds. That means you have 50 attempts at geographic glory. If there is a tie between 2 or more players at the end of 50 rounds, I will have to be very clever and think up a tie-breaker contest.

What do you win? The following:

A certificate of sorts, posted on to your deviantART home page, declaring that you have won my little contest and that you are a very smart cookie indeed.

In addition, you will recieve a HAND DRAWN map of any area of your choice, as long as you don't pick the entire planet (that could get messy). And that region must be on Earth. For example, you could ask for a map of a specific country, or an area within a country. I will not draw undersea maps, sorry.

Now: the scraps themselves will be posted in my journal by order of difficulty - the easiest at the top, the hardest at the bottom.
