Not really, the whole point of journalism is to report on a story. Street photography is about capturing the moment that provides the viewer with the base to construct their own story.
Take Robert Doisneau's famous Paris kiss photograph for example. It has little journalistic merit, there's nothing to indicate the place, time or situation in which it is taken. From a street photography perspective you have the potential to unravel any number of love stories.
Some very nice work but I would say that many belong in the Street Photography gallery.
The point of photojournalism is to tell a news story. Considering in some of the images the photographer has no mention of news in the description I feel it would fall under Street.
This isn't to take away anything from the quality of the work though
dA is the widest and most popular Cyber Gallery. dA is the best place to expoze your creations, to get recognition, to discover other's art. And for many other reasons you may be happy to be a Deviant. Therefore dA have bugs... Then read this...

Give the Insects and Spiders category some lurve.
And I agree with you as far as the photojournalism/street photography distinction goes. To me it seems rather arbitrary.

Personally I'd say the two are very different.
