If you've been living in the U.S. for a while, you must have noticed this issue as well. I live in massachussetts, where, i think, gay marriage is legal. But why so much fuss about it, why are people so weird and indifferent when this issue comes up? Why is it such a touchy subject? After reading this,[link] i was a little mad, one because it isn't fair to judge someone like that, its almost as ignorant as explaining why being asian is bad. These people don't know what its like to be gay, so is the reason they are so homophobic is because they don't want to turn gay themselves? And about the 'being married to your dog" crap ,give me a break, what does that have to do with human rights? Gay people, unlike dogs or other animals, are HUMAn, and can think on their own. It is almost like theyre making gay marriage sound like its murder. I don't think gay marriage is a sin, and i'm christian. Sure its not normal, but it brings that person happiness, so leave them alone! Being gay is not sickness, because it doesn't make you sick. It isn't a mental disorder because it doesn'tmake you different from anyone lese, are gay peole violent?? They are not, its the crazed homophobic people around them that are the ones that are truly scary.So why should we deny someone the right to be married to the person they love? Why can't we accept the fact they they are happy the way they are? I'd love to hear responses,because even though I'm not gay, others are.
