A Special Collection of photographs i found this month that still haunts my mind. Show them some love There are always some i can`t include due to space, i try to make the features under 50 deviations to give them better exposure
Have a great time everyone and please fav this article so as many people can see the featured works. I would recommend seeing each one and faving them too.
Only a few years ago, finding a five or six megapixel camera was hard -- not to mention a bit expensive. But, as with any technology, the price eventually comes down. Now there are eight, 10, 12 and higher megapixels available, but it doesn't mean that a camera with only five is obsolete.
The best digital cameras out there don't necessarily have the most megapixels. Now, I do understand that having a 16.7 megapixel Canon is obviously not a setback -- but you can find quality cameras that are in the five to six megapixel range.
Remember, megapixels don't automatically make for a better picture. They increase the photographer's ability to zoom in digitally and while retaining picture clarity. They also allow for tighter cropping while still producing a quality image. For most day-to-day use, and most print sizes under 11x16, a smaller megapixel count can perfectly do the trick.
Here are a few great cameras in the under $900.00 range that can get the job done, and most people will never be able to tell you camera isn't a pro model.
1. Nikon D50 DSLR 6.1 MP w/ 18-55mm lens: A great camera that's producing stunning prints. The street price is around $599.00.
2. Nikon D70s DSLR 6.1MP w/ 18-70mm lens: A big sister model to the D50 with a few more features packed in. The street price is around $858.00.
3. Kodak V610 6 MP point and shoot w/ 10x optical zoom: Dual lenses work to create a great image. This camera has image stabilization built in. The street price is a steal at around $245.00.
4. Panasonic DMC-FZ7 6 MP point and shoot w/ 12x optical zoom. This camera has the distance shooting capability equivalent to a 430mm zoom in 35mm film camera. With image stabilization added, it's another steal at around $299.00.
Those are just a few. Remember read customer reviews, and if possible test it out at the store. make sure it works for you, and that it's comfortable for you to manuever. You can have great quality without breaking the bank! Good luck! Happy shopping!
Nice suggestions, some very good choices. But i'd like to add:
DSLR's may be cheap to begin with (such as the D40 or D50)
But then take in to account lenses, Macro lenses, tele-photo lenses. So, keep in mind what you want to take photos of before you buy, if your like me (an experimental photographer) something more like a Fuji Finepix S9600 may be more suitable.
