Pakistan Designer’s Exchange

Creativity is something that is awarded to everyone, in some form. And it is up to us that how we utilize it.
Browsing DA and internet I felt a need for a common platform where the designers of Pakistan can unite. We have so much talent in Pakistan, and the talent is until this date learned by ourselves mostly. Until now there weren’t proper (not till now I guess) schools where we can learn digital Art. If you talk about Punjab University, they do teach Art but not sufficiently equipped labs to make it practical. Which of course leaves us artists to explore ourselves the net, sometimes admire and copy works of others just to get the hold of the Soft wares.
As a result Pakistan is producing artists who are, ORIGINAL, Pakistan Designer’s Exchange is a concept where I will try to showcase Talent from Pakistan, post jobs, exchange views and possibly more.
My aim is to secure the community from here and then open the door to the website, which of course is underway.
So let’s begin by first spreading the word and building members.

Q.What is Paksitan Designer’s Exchange?
A. Paksitan Designer’s Exchange is a platform of Pakistani artists showcasing Talent from Pakistan , jobs in and out of Pakistan , exchange views and possibly more.

Q.What are we going to see?
A. PKDE will showcase the latest and some of the best web designs. Plus some tips/tricks/hacks/tutorials will be available for our designers to explore.

Q.How often an issue will be released?
A. At present, it is planned to be a monthly issue.

Q.Can I request submissions? Can I submit a design for the showcase?
A. Yes! You can submit a design made by you/any other person on dA by sending me a note with a link to the submission. After inspecting the design, it'll be decided whether to showcase it or not. (plz note , don’t want to be rude to anyone but PKDE showcase is for Pakistani artists)

Q.i am not from Pakistan but can I join , or watch ?
A. Of course! you are welcome since we will be having loads of resources for all the artist!

Q.i would like to volunteer help for PKDE ?
A. Please please do send me a note with volunteer for PKDE as I need help and support to keep this going

Best tool for web design?
Of course there are plenty, many billions of tools. Today’s tip is how you manage your workspace. Get the most out of your work here is a tool which I accidentally found and now it is with me all the time which I would like to share with you as well
Color codes are show as the cursor is moved in the ColorPix window. A cursor click displays the color code in web Hex and decimal Red, Green, Blue, along with the color compliment. The ColorPix screen can be pasted from the clipboard or read from a file. Successive clicks save the pixel colors in a list with user descriptions for review or printing. ColorPix is an essential utility for web page development.
