reports, 2d 22h agoThe winners of the Breaking Free contest have been announced! Amongst the entries were a daily deviation, a news feature and many stunning pieces of space art. The aim of my contest was take a piece I had rendered in Vue 6 and manipped a smoketrail into, and "spacify it" - that is use it as a stock to make a space related piece of art.

reports, February 1, 2007The popularity of the hit TV show "House" is a phenomenon at dA. In addition to numerous deviant signatures quoting House episodes, drawings, paintings, cartoons, avatars, and even a "House Whiteboard font" have been spotted among the deviations.
As a fellow "House" addict/enthusiast, I would like to host a "House Lovefest" to be featured in a News Article and in my personal journal on Valentine's Day.
It's not a contest, it's just a fun way for House fans to share their "House" love!
Although I could easily search deviations for "House", "Hugh Laurie", and various other House terms, I thought it would be much more fun to have people submit their own art or recommend someone else's.
I will feature at least 10 of my favourite deviations, in order of my love for them, and will credit both the artist and the person who recommended them (if applicable).
Any type of House art is fine. To submit: Send me a note with a link by Feb 12 - it's as easy as that!
