reports, 2d 1h agoA friend of mine, *Flutterings came up with the idea to post a news story about mental illness in honor of the "World Mental Health Day", but with the day fast closing (at least in my time zone) and knowing she has a plethora of other things she is currently dealing with, I opted to post myself.
But my news article not withstanding, her original intent, and beautiful deviation commemorating the day and the essence should not be merely over looked, but seen and applauded ([link]).

My main purpose in doing a monthly feature about (to my point of view) 'the best visual art' is to put in the same level as well wellknown artists and popular creations as unknown artists and under-exposed creations.
Artists need to be supported.
So don't be shy!
Visit their pages, support them by faving, commenting, and when you see a deviation that you like also view their gallery entirely, like that you can decide if you will devwatch them or not.
Viewing only a deviation (what is great) is not enough
And if you want to see your favorite visual artists or art selected to be in this feature for the next month, send me via note the links/thumbs!

In art, we empathise with the atmosphere the elements create and feel the power, strength and meaning. Many say the elements are the basis of nature. Some argue that the elements form a visual language of art. Art communicates and express thoughts (Air); has substance (Earth); drives force and energy (Fire); and has certain fluidity (Water) So, I leave you with the following pieces that show you the four elements thriving in all type of art.
