Delete Everything, omg! Well --

`Cosira:iconCosira: reports, February 9, 2007
Hey, Community. :)

It's February now, and Spring is around the corner, so why not do some Spring Cleaning?

Go through your galleries and scraps and message center and your journals. I'll bet you can find a lot of things you really don't need anymore. Either the notes/journals are refering to dated things that are over, or you've grown as an artist and lots of stuff in your galleries really doesn't reflect where you are now on your Artistic Journey - either way, clean them out and feel good that you're making it easier for you to manage your own page as well as helping DA.

Clean, organized galleries show you off to your best advantage when people browse through your art. It *also* makes it far easier on our hardworking Gallery Directors. The more organized you are, the less time they have to spend moving miscategorized items and other janitorial tasks.
A weeded out Sent folder and Inbox make it easier to find information you need. :)

What do you say, Community?

:highfive: I hadn't, then I decided to.

I cleared out over 80 scraps, about 12 deviations and literally hundreds of old notes, sent items and journals.

:faint:

I felt so much better after that.

Making fun of the powerful is Bravery, because they can make you pay for what you say. This is why Satire is the weapon of the Clever Courageous. Making fun of someone weaker than you are, that is merely Cowardice.

Fine. After being asked by several people and a gallery director to write it, I figured it was news material.

It is under 'editorial'.

:iconmirrorkills:
editorial or not, imo still not news worthy, its barely two paragraphs.

Length doesn't necessarily mean something is better, but if you don't agree with the points, that's fine.

So if I write an essay it'll be news worthy? Awesome, I'm gonna submit my essay on global warming and the benefits of eco-friendly housing so you guys can proof read it!

:iconrelativegod:
Cleaning up gallery - yes. But why clean up scraps? The best place to put the things you clean out of your gallery is the scraps section. Chances are, if you uploaded it in the first place, it's at least worthy of that little honor. B-sides, browsing through people's scraps is fun.
