My friend posted this in his journal and I think it's important enough that the whole world should take a moment to reflect on it. Yes..the world lost a talented performer and artist in Michael Jackson..but there are many more tragic deaths occurring daily all over the world that go unnoticed. Alaska's McNeil River Wildlife Sanctuary boasts the largest congregation of brown bears in the world. Each year, people from across America and around the world visit the sanctuary to see the area's famed brown bears congregate and fish for spawning salmon.
Unfortunately, hunting restrictions that have protected the bears for more than 20 years are about to expire, and it's up to us to help.
