After suffering several devastating losses the past week, *untodarkness was in a car accident early Friday morning. Friday night the deviantART community put aside their differences, put their own fights behind them to support *untodarkness by hosting a candlelight vigil for her Friday night. Being a member here for a short while, the amount of support and love for this girl, has been quite overwhelming. In a short 5 months, she has managed over 50,000 page views without a single DD, and close to 300 people on her friends list. Several vigils were held for her last night, and despite everyone's petty disagreements with each other, they managed to work together to support her. This is what the deviantART community should be like. If everyone stopped fighting with each other, and showed this kind of support for each other, imagine what could be accomplished here on deviantART. It doesn't matter what your petty arguments are with each other, in the grand scheme of things, and compared to the events that have happened to *untodarkness this past week, doesn't it all seem unimportant? This community has shown me just how supportive they can be of each other, and I wish it could be this way for everyone.
