A while back, I posted a
news article about a company in Ireland called
Steorn who claim they have created "Free and Clean Energy".
Now, just to clarify, I did Physics at college, so I am as sceptical as anyone when it comes to this claim, due to the fact they will have have broken one of the fundamental laws of Physics.
But, on January 11th 2007, Steorn updated their website announcing the name of their new technology, "Orbo" (Don't get me started on the name).
The orignal challenge they issued to the scientific coummunity to validate this claim is apparantly underway and they expect to post the results towards the end of 2007.
Further navigation into their website reveils a section called '
Core Technolgy' as a sub section of 'Orbo'. Now, it states on this section,
"Detailed technical specifications will be made available at the end of Quarter 1, 2007."
Now, one can't help but think if this truely was a hoax like all of these type of claims are, then surely they would have given up by now? The fact they have branded this technology just rings in my ears ever so slightly that maybe this could be true?
Well, if it is, we will recieve some information at the end of the 1st Quarter of 2007 on this supposed 'Core Technology'. Although it is funnily coincidental that the beginning of the 2nd Quarter is April 1st (a.k.a. April Fool's).
As with anything, time will tell...
