The Forum News

Plz accounts: Back!

That's right! In a bit of a U-turn, plz accounts are being allowed. Limitations, obviously, but then most people did agree they had out of hand before the last purge.

~failplz is back!

In these threads, $lolly asked for the avatars to be returned (some accounts were unbanned, some accounts had been linked with abuse and so had their avatars returned by $lolly) and gave general rules for them.

The gist of it is that plz accounts are fine, so long as they don't get out of hand and aren't used for abuse.

The staff care!

Or to put it another way, the staff have noticed the forums exist! Stickys in most forums have been made, asking for contest ideas, and the forumer's opinions on how they should be run.

Some deviants have voiced concerns about whether staff 'meddling' is a good thing. I, personally, think that there's no problem yet. In fact, aside from the $/% or other symbols, you'd be a bit hard pressed to tell the difference at the moment

That said, I would be concerned if they did meddle too much - watch this space.

And more to this: An Anime sticky thread has been made in complaints! Thank God, or $chix0r.

Trolls? D:

There were a couple of trolls in the forums as of late. Nothing much to worry about actually, but as far as I can remember, the first ones we've had in a while

We all knew it would happen sooner or later, but I don't think many deviants could forsee HOW it would happen. And how controversial it would be.

Unfortunately, I think saying what happened would no doubt get me in trouble and probably banned for point out deviants, causing people to troll them or something

(What a pity I'm not a popular artist )

Just an aside...but are the forums getting better, or is it just me?
Now the staff seem to be taking an interest and getting involved, and many of the forumers are making great threads, and n00bs have learnt or left..well, I've actually been having a real good time on them
