The aim of my contest was take a piece I had rendered in Vue 6 and manipped a smoketrail into, and "spacify it" - that is use it as a stock to make a space related piece of art.

reports, March 5, 2007There's been a relatively large response in the forum so far for this contest with some really great entries. I would like this contest to be bigger and better than any that I have ever hosted before. I would like to offer more prizes but I am just one person and I don't want to make the same mistake I did last time and wait to ask until I've started the judging.
I'm sending out the plea to all of you. Everyone who appreciates art that actually makes you think. This is something I think a lot of people overlook and needs as much attention as possible.
I'm looking for people to donate:
- subs
- journal features
- commission quality pieces
- anything you can think of!
(I'm also looking for someone to make a support stamp for this contest. It will give some extra publicity to both the contest and the deviant who creates it

Those who are interested in entering, I'm still accepting submissions so here is an overview of the guidelines and current prizes-

This means your submissions (up to 3):
1. Tell a story
2. Are conceptual in nature
3. Require intense staring for lengthy periods of time to finally 'get'
4. Have intense emotional weight which is displayed in the image itself or in the description.
