Selective Color!

reports, March 7, 2007Selective color is one of those love it or hate it things. Those who don't care much for it might say that making only part(s) of a photo/drawing colorful is an easy way to get your creations labeled as "art". Might it also be said that any kind of editing brings about the same response? Besides, selective coloring can serve a very separate purpose, and that is emphasis in order to convey a certain idea.
Hopefully the following deviations will prove that including selective color isn't a technique that "begs for recognition". Imagine some of these photos without the selective color and decide on what you think is better
(next to digital, traditional drawings and deviations created with stock, I will indicate which is which. Each deviation has the creator's username next to it, followed by the title).
