reports, March 8, 2007I've collected more black and white photos, that i think represent some of the archetypes of the art. Some are high contrast, some are low contrast and some are just perfect. Some are 'noir', some are studio shots, and others just seem like plain ol snapshots. Anyways, the thing that unites them all is that every one of them seems to not use color in order to maximize the beauty of the shot.
I think by looking at these photos as a whole, we can begin to see some of the tricks and techniques we all use to make a good healthy black and white photo.
