Yes, I know, spotlights and features already fill plenty of news articles. However, I intend for mine to be a little bit different.

Many of these features contain deviations from only a few different categories of art here on dA, and of these most are a picture of some sort, usually photography and/or digital art.

In these spotlights, I aim to feature a variety of works from a variety of categories and with varying degrees of popularity, though most of these deviations are virtually unknown rather than popular. By doing so, I hope to bring attention to these different deviants and their deviations that may have been passed over otherwise.

I have been doing a spotlight in my own journal for a few months now, but it hasn't helped the featured deviants or their deviations much at all. The news articles are my next step up in my attempt to get these deviants and their deviations known to the rest of the dA world.

This week is the 7 Deadly Sins! It was difficult to find a good assortment of deviations in this category, but I think I pulled it off all right. Rather than putting all of the deviations in one big chunk, I've split them off into categories, one group for each sin.
