FINALLY it seems the wait for us Minolta/Sony users has somewhat come to an end. Though not officially out yet, Sony yesterday dropped a bombshell on PMA with showcasing 2 upcoming DSLR's at the show out of no where. It sent PMA into a madhouse. The
'Flagship Model" is reported by Sony to be a pro-level DSLR based on the Minolta Maxxum 9. There has been a LOT of speculation on this camera since last year when Zeiss accidentally in their lens announcement of upcoming Sony lenses dropped a bomb that essentially said the digital lenses won't work with the upcoming Sony pro dslr, as new lenses for that camera must be made because it is full frame.
Sony yesterday also announced the availability of another DSLR, the
"High Amateur Model" which appears to be a straight upgrade from the A100.
Both cameras apparently use a whole new image sensor along with a BIONZ image processor. The pro-level has no on board flash (naturally)

Interesting article though. Sony has yet to convince me that their cameras can handle high ISO well...

In the end though, I think comments should be reserved for more substantial discussion over the topic mentioned in the article.
