For the last few weeks, I have been back on deviantART. I was gone for almost a year. A year ago, people seemed kind and willing to help you out. Now, it seems, if you go to the Forum and ask for help, or some sort of outside critique, all people do it bash you to hell.

Well, I say to you people who do this: Weren't you all beginners with questions at one time, too? Remember that before you decide to have some sort of elitist attitude towards people. Not only are you making the deviantART community look bad, you are making the Art community in general seem snobbish and coarse.

Now, to you people who do help. Kudos! You are doing the right thing. Helping one another to achieve a higher goal. Don't let the over-opinionated jerks push out the Art communities up and comer's.

Finally, to the beginners, newbies, and what not. Keep up the good work. Never stop trying. Just because a few people on a Forum are rude and inconsiderate, or they have made comments that are less then kind on your deviations doesn't mean you are a bad Artist or untalented or stupid. You are you. That is your art. What they are saying is just an opinion. Nothing more. Besides, for everyone of them, there could be tons of others that love that piece.
