THE THIRD DIMENSION
----------------------------------
Yeah here it is - the part you have all been waiting for, the selection of seven of the best artworks in the 3D gallery as selected by our panel of 6 people involved in art accross a wide range of mediums. And our selections for this week are...
Reanimate by =10am
This piece was selected without the prior knowledge of =
10am but it was felt it exemplified the variations abstract art can undergo, a fluid flowing render detailed with grunge and contrast with the selection of cel rendering as an added kick to the title, a very worthy piece and a very worthwhile selection.
Flight Deck by ~bazze
When we first saw this we were sure it had been miscategorised, but upon closer inspection we found it was instead just a perfectly dynamic render of a fearsome weapon. Excellent use of light and colour make this a worthy piece.
Quickstarter by *Fredy3D
We gotta admit - we love *
Fredy3D's renders and this is no exception. Such a fun pose done with amazing amounts of attention to detail. This artwork shows the sheer talent this artist possesses and is well worthy of recognition.
Revenga by =Angelus-Hellion and ~DaveAvalon
Finding lovely Abstracts this week was proving a bit difficult until we came across this work - combining two amazing artforms together (fractal and abstract) these artists were able to create an abolutly stunning and energetic piece of artwork.
Crystalline by ~IceBlueEyes2091
We here at The Third Dimension: are always on the lookout for dynamic and interesting new renders and when we saw this our jaws collectively dropped - amazingly icy colours and dreamlinke complexion gave this artwork a feeling of intense winteriness, excellent use of renders and colour make this a gorgeous piece to be added to any favourite list.
main majlis 2 by ~kristanno
We can't really say much aside from take the time to enjoy the details - an amazing amount of work and care has been taken to make this artwork the way it is and it shows. Gorgeous modelling work and spectacular lighting.
Una Mas by ~Hankins
The way some glasses should look after a few drinks, excellent use of V-ray and some vibrant colour work take this image out of the crowd. While looking at this we all had to keep making sure we hadn't been drinking instead of working, a very effective and solidly worked render.

CREDITS
