This past month (and a half) has been huge for fashion, (thus why this article could merit a tl;dr

) and we're here to do an overview of the craziness that has ensued and showcase some of the latest and greatest works brought to us by the ever-creative minds of our resident dAsigners, but first, let's take a look at the professional world of fashion.

Fashion Week: Last week was Fall Fashion Week, and the world of fashion was treated to the latest work of designers like Christian Dior (currently headed by John Galliano, Alexander McQueen and Stella McCartney. These specific designers put the audience in awe as they strutted their stuff down the runway in looks right out of the forties, witches and downright fun with fake furs and splendid knits. Be sure to check out the latest collections and take a peek at this year's spring collections as well at:

Note: If you're looking for something a little more wearable, check out the ready-to-wear collections as couture collections are filled with pieces meant as art and not necessarily for use off of the runway.

New Trends: Wanting to spice up your wardrobe with the hottest new trends? Well, both the past and future are in right now with looks inspired by the 1980s and the looks of tomorrow being all the rage. If you're looking for something a little whimsical, try using geometric shapes and circus inspired designs such as flowy and swingy ponchos, bubbles and more. Let's not forget those pinup girls whom are making themselves known on the runway with short shorts, long legs, and, even, turbans. To check out more on these trends and perhaps a few more, check out the style report, available here:
