This article has just about a months worth of features, due to me being lazy and suspended for 2 weeks.

I hope this big article makes up for my absence. Give it a

if you want to see another one in a couple weeks.
This week we'll get things started off with a feature from an artist brand new to dA, ~
ame72. He's been hitting up that famous big blank wall that Banksy
[link] did a series of paintings on.
Here's a video of his work
[link] and a few featured deviations as well.

I hope to see many more good things from this brave and talented street artist.
Next up we've got an interview with *
guerrilla-tactics who's been a friend of mine and an active member of kwg for quite a while. He seemed like the logical first choice for someone to get to know a little bit more about.
Me in italics.
Guerrilla-Tactics in bold.
Got a little bit of time to chat?
yea man always
Ok, lets start with an introduction. Who are you / where are you from / what should we know about you?
hang on 2 seconds, bloody phone ringing lol
Ha, alright, no worries
ok well where to begin?
preffered name is kai as ive been called that since i was about 12, stands for Kaned And Incapable
I started desiging stencils about 3 years ago but only started to actually cut and spray them in the last 11 months
You're from the UK, yes?
yes, England born and bred
Do you think growing up in England, surrounded by so much street art (orso it seems to me) had an influence on you being involved with street art and stencils?
To a certain degree yes, as it was mainly because of b***sy's work that I actually started getting interested in street art, but in general Id say that it's because of the internet making everything so readily availible and being able to see sites such as DA, cutnspray etc etc and meeting people such as yourself I have actually started to show more than a passing intrest in it.
Well I'm glad I had some influence on you too! What would you say is your crowning achievement, the best of the best that you've done; street art wise?
Probably hitting the side of a wall in broad daylight with my 'it floats on the air' stencil in the busiest street in Bristol while there was hundreds of police on the streets due to a bomb being found, it was a HUGE rush and has taken all fear away that I had about doing anything slightly risquê! Either that or having the canvas version of the same stencil voted No. 3 in the top 10 deviations of 2006 for street art, that was so unexpected and was quite humbling knowing how many deviations there actually were.
I remember seeing the video of you doing that ( [link] ), pretty sketchy situation it seemed like. You've been a member of kidswithguns for along time. I'm pretty sure you were one of the original guys that first started hanging out in the chat. What made you start talking with us other street artists, and what keeps you coming back and staying involved with a casual global crew like kwg?
Yes its been a while now! I first started coming in to the chatroom as it was just full of helpful people who were totally willing to share tips and advice and as anything like this is a constant learning process it was great to be able to bounce ideas of each other. I have been a little slack on my participation of late due to fulltime work but I still pop in to have a chat from time to time as much as possible and I am planning to get back to the forums a bit more in the near future.
Everyone's got real world stuff that they've gotta keep up on. You know you're always welcome whenever you stop by. Ok music time, what are you currently playing / blasting / bumping and what kinds of music are you typically found listening to?
Hell yea music! My kind of question
Right now im playing a video from youtube of a roots reggae band as they are playing at a party Ill be at soon [link] but normally its drum and bass, trip/hip hop, dubstep or breaks, it can honestly be anything though from 70s funk to hardcore ragga, litterally whatever I am in the mood to hear at that minute.
I know I've got a dnb set you did on my iPod, listen to it quite a bit! Having a broad music taste is good. Always have an open mind to new things is how I like to live. So I'm wondering if you've got any big projects on the horizon we should know about? Any stuff you've been working on for a while, or has money making been stealing all your time away?
HAHA! first off thanks for downloading and not deleting it! :-D
As for new projects, ive been so slack mainly due to work, but also cos I have run out of caps (some are in the post now) and Im running out of paint faster than I can afford to buy it. There is one bigger project on the way but I cant say too much about it yet
Also on the cards soon is a new version of the heart girl stencil which will fit onto 3 records, a collab with a friend of mine and I've got the corner of a friend's bedroom to paint aswell, I really need to stop making excuses and get a move on as I'm fed up with feeling this un-inspired!
Sounds like you've got a full list of things to do, that's always good to prevent boredom. Is there anything else you'd like to say or ask me or shout out before we wrap this thing up?
Yes first off thank you, both for thinking I am worthy of interviewing and also for starting off KWG and keeping it alive so long, without it id probably have drifted on to the next thing I liked the sound of and not bothered keeping on with street art.. Secondly Id like to thanks to and shamelessly plug *selfhuggingjack as her support and love is the most important thing in the world to me! :-D
Ha, good man supporting your girl. Thanks for chatting with me and I look forward to seeing many good things from you in the future!
nah thank YOU
And now for the featured art!

Yes some people are featured more than once. That's because they're better than you. Get over it.
So who wants to be interviewed next week?
Like always, supported by
