It's that time of year when deviants carve pumpkins, watch horror flicks, and break out their spookiest costumes for themselves, their OCs, and their favorite fictional characters. Enjoy some of dA's more underappreciated Halloween art!
Weve all heard about it by now; the H1N1 virus, or originally called Swine Flu and though there are plenty of theories where it came from or how much of a problem it may be, I have done a bit of research over the last few months and have come up with a small bite of information that people can read should they become concerned, or just want to know a bit more before they accuse someone of having the virus, or if you yourself think you may

This British photographer narrowly escaped death in the pursuit of his craft. The pictures are telling enough, but watching the video at the end to see just how fast this happened really illustrates just how FAST and how close his doom could have been.
The month of a sad event is coming up, it is the sinking of the Titanic. Almost 95 years ago the Titanic sank on its maiden voyage. Still even after all this years it strikes so hearts. So the Titanic is never forgotten I wrote this news tribute.
History Before Sinking
The Titanic was a important ship of its time and it still is. In 1912 the Titanic was the biggest ship around with the size of 882.5 feet long. It was a big lost in April 14, 1912 when the Titanic hit a iceberg. The next day at 2:20 a.m., only about three hours later the Titanic sank.
At a party in London the idea of the Titanic came up in 1907. In 1909 the Titanics blueprints were set up. The company that work on the ship was called Harland & Wolff. The owner of the company was William Pirrie. To build the ship in took workers to work nine hours a day and they had to work six days a week to make the hull alone. When the hull was being made it took more than 1,000 steel plates that were one-inch thick. To hold all the plates together in took more than three million rivets for the whole ship. On May 31, 1911 the ship was ready to be put in the water for the interior to be built.
Titanic slipped gracefully into the River Lagan launched on twenty-two tons of tallow, train oil, and soap, and was towed to the fitting out basin. It was now time for the three thousand carpenters, engineers, electricians, plumbers, painters, master mechanics, and interior designers to fit the Titanic with the latest in marine technology and the most sumptuous fixtures and furniture. Finally, on April 2, 1912 she was ready. Certified seaworthy, Harland & Wolff handed her over to the White Star Line and the Royal Mail Triple-Screw Steamer Titanic departed for her place in history.

A Creepy Fact
In 1898 a book called Futility by Morgan Roberson was written. In the book there was a ship named the Titan which was a unsinkable ship that set sail on April. The ship hit a iceberg and it sank caused hundreds of people to died because there was not enough lifeboats.
