About ONE

As April brings us closer and closer to summer, ONE brings you closer to the launch of the newest, greatly-anticipated deviantART event which is primarily dedicated to deviants who love to have fun, competition, and of course deviantART itself.

This summer, ONE will be a fun online deviantART community-based event filled with competition and thumbsharing. Participating may result in lavish prizes and overwhelming popularity. Absolutely everyone is invited and encouraged to participate! For additional information, please visit the journal.

Because ONE is new to the community, more time is needed to get things running in proper order. Your support is greatly needed and appreciated! You can always show your support by adding ONE to your deviantWATCH and placing the Official 1 Stamp into your journal. Thank you in advance!

Since so much curiosity and interest has been expressed all over the place, it has been decided that there is no better way to celebrate the launch with a fun activity which is suitable for all deviants. Read on further for more info.

Mr. Gweepee's Adventures

Who is Mr. Gweepee?

Well, in the following short summary of Mr. Gweepee's adventures, we find out a little bit about his personality and dreams. But I wasn't satisfied with just that, I interviewed his very best friend $lolly to get to know a little bit more about our dear friend:

How did Mr. Gweepee come to life?
He hatched from a plastic bag.

What does Mr. Gweepee like?
I know he likes sardine pudding (which are actually Legos but he thinks they are pudding), and he likes napkins (which are actually girls kissing him but he thinks they are napkins that clean his face.)

Basic info about Mr. Gweepee (age, sex, location)
He told me once that he was older than 23 but younger than 17. He's a weird one. He is male as far as I can tell. And he currently lives with me in LA.

Is there anything else you want to add about the gorgeous Mr. Gweepee?
I hear he is about to launch several of his own pudding mines and begin mining pudding any day now!

We all know that $lolly is Mr. Gweepee's best friend and that he is a weird kind of penguin. But what else do we now about this charismatic character of our community? To find out more about this, I started investigating Mr. Gweepee and his great adventures!
We first met Mr. Gweepee on March 20th 2007 in his First Big Adventure. At that point we only knew that he has teleporting powers and that he communicates with us using images because he speaks too fast that we will never be able to understand him. Right after that, $lolly was kind of upset because while he was working all day at the office, Mr. Gweepee was outside sight seeing and enjoying the city. Fortunately, since he has a really kind heart, he sent the poor hardworking $lolly a nice postcard! After that, we lost track of Mr. Gweepee for a while, but then he sent a strange message "▓▒▒▒▓" that we thought could only mean that he was going to a secret mission, $lolly and all of us started to get really scared because we didn't know where Mr. Gweepee was, so $lolly went out to look for him, and then the very next day, Mr. Gweepee finally responded to us with another postcard. He said that this had nothing to do with his secret mission, maybe he was just enjoying a free time with his new friend, the Running Cat.

Mr. Gweepee continued his mysterious secret mission without giving us details, except from a letter which gave us small details of his journey. But right after that, when we thought we knew what Mr. Gweepee's mission was, we were in for a marvelous surprise! Mr. Gweepee's secret mission was a love quest to find his long lost love, his wife Babette! This was a really nice and touching surprise. Our friend is in love!

Mr. Gweepee's Marbles

Oh, but wait! Not too many people know this, but Mr. Gweepee keeps marbles in his mouth at all times. He's been collecting them for years, and it's what makes him the happy and adventurous guy he is today. With all of Mr. Gweepee's adventures and distracting distractions, our friend has failed to notice one of his teeth missing! So as he rumps and roams around the world, and more specifically the world of deviantART, he's slowly losing the marbles he keeps in his mouth. This is bad news indeed... unless of course a few of his fellow, loyal deviants pitch in to collect and retrieve them! While all of you deviants out there are at it, why not make it a contest? Who ever finds the most marbles wins! Look below for the contest details!

Contest Details!

Throughout the entire month of April, the ONE account will be writing comments all over deviantART. Forums, deviations, deviant pages, news articles, everywhere! In ONE's signature is where you might be able to find one of Mr. Gweepee's marbles. When you find this marble, be EXTRA sure to record the comment URL and keep it in a safe place. At the end of the month, May 1 (12:00AM PST), note your findings to ONE and wait for the results!

Contest details recap:


• Look for ONE's comments around deviantART.
• Find a comment with a marble in it.
• Record the comment link and keep it in a safe place.
• Keep your eyes peeled throughout the month of April, as ONE posts more comments with marbles.
• At the end of the month, before March 1 at 12:00AM PST, note ONE with your findings.
• Wait for the contest results!

Here comes the twist, which should make competing a bit more interesting. Mr. Gweepee has 4 types of marbles in his head, each of them has different importance values.
• Red marbles are worth 1 point.
• Blue marbles are worth 2 points.
• Both green and purple marbles are worth 3 points.
The winners are determined by who ever has the greatest amount of points. Which brings us to...

• The deviant with the most points wins a 1 year subscription.
• The deviant with the second most points wins a 6 month subscription.
• The deviant with the third most points wins a 3 month subscription
• And the deviant with the fourth most points wins a 1 month subscription.
Winners' names will be placed forever in a special "Contest Winners" section in the ONE journal. Watch closely, and be expecting nicer prizes and finer details in the upcoming month. Good luck to all!
