This is my first news feature. I saw the articles on things like birds and cats and decided, Hey, someone needs to do one of these for reptiles! I found most of them through ~slither-club or ~Rep-phibian but all thumbs link to the original deviations, not club entries.

I'm always impressed by this striking close-up of a big iguana.


One of the funniest and most vibrant animal photos I've come across; I really like this quirky lizard who thought a shoe was something to eat.


Komodo dragon photos are hard to find, so I was delighted to see this one. If you look closely, it looks like he's smiling.


I just came across this today and think it's an impressive shot; the snake looks alert and curious.


Another curious little snakey. This one decided to investigate a pen holder! Cute and silly.


Is there a non-reptile in this picture? Why yes. I decided to feature it anyway, since it's an interesting photo of a snake, a bit of another snake, and a tarantula.


Impressive. I wouldn't want to be the person taking this shot, since that does not look like a happy cobra, but it's an excellent capture.


Okay, yes, this one's mine. I loved these monitor lizards and thought they'd make a cute picture.


Now this is a fun shot! The bearded dragon looks like he loves having his picture taken!


Run, Harry Potter! It's a basilisk! Seriously though, basilisks are so colorful and interesting-looking--they make great photo subjects.
