Since I joined Deviant Art, I really haven't gotten to get some tips from other artists, so I thought I would give some of you guys some!

HANDS:
When you try to draw hands, don't go crazy, because basically nobody can really master them for a long time! Try drawing them alone dozens of times on a piece of paper! Coloring them may be hard. Try not to go imediately into drawing each individual creases in the hand, it may look sloppy, unless if you're really good at it!

CLOTHING
Oh boy! You say when you see an awesome drawing with detailed clothes. Try getting a clothes reference book or something! Until then, just look around and note at how the folds and shadows go. Maybe by these observations you will become better with drawing clothes! If you happen to have a wooden man, try placing a clothe over him in the pose he is in, to see how the clothe would go around a real person! It's much easier and cheeper than a model!

ANATOMY
ANATOMY! The most annoying thing about art! Try getting a biology class for this one! You see, my friends keep confusing me with this one! They say that either it has a HUGE head, or a tiny tiny head. They also make fun of anything else that THEY THINK is wrong, but is really correct. So that really confuses me! I still need a whole lot of work on this area of art! You might want to ask a better artist about this area of it! Sorry!

CRITICS
Don't worry! Critics aren't trying to make you feel bad! They're just trying to help you become a better artist! One of my pictures I have had to change dozons of times in order to make perfect! Some critics may take the satisfaction away from you, but always know that this disapointment will end with you selling artwork to a local art musuem!

COLORING
May I recomend a coloring tutorial? Yes! I still need work in this area too! look at real life things, and see how they are shaded, and colors need to fit the feel of the picture! That's a huge thing to remember when coloring! Please look more into this, because I'm not good with coloring, but coloring makes more people want to look at your gallery.
