=10am here, just checking in to let you know about some up and coming changes to TTD before we kick into this weeks artworks.

Some of you may have noticed that it has become a Fortnightly magazine, rather than weekly as previously done, this is temporary as I am looking for another writer who can do the issue in the off weeks for me.

Apart from that keep up the support - it's well appreciated and is more than enough to keep us going!

Let's try and spread the word and get the average Fav level up to 50+ an issue yeh?

Such detail and attention to creating a realistic model, wonderful use of Zbrush to work at the details, and a fantastic piece of artwork.


Audi LOCUS Wallpaper V1 by ~ugursahin1234
When I saw this I thought that Audi had just brought advertising space on dA, such beautiful rendering and postwork to meld the car into the background makes this piece well worthy of it's spot in this issue.


ZERO by *1ALPHA1
This guy is going for the most features by a single artist in TTD award with no doubt, once again managing to create the most inspirational and unique piece of artwork yet again. This piece reminds me of the killer artwork of the graffiti master, Daim.


SC-001 by *damnengine
Once I saw this I thought CD cover! Heh reading the description proved my hunch, but to my disbelief this artwork wasn't selected!
It is the existence of little gems like this that make doing TTD magazine all worthwhile, and make my browsing on dA that much more enjoyable. Wonderful use of texture and colour in this image set it well apart from the rest!


Karafuru by ~ouwEnz
Now everyone knows my weakness for a good abstract, and this bright and colourful mix of both rounded, natural abstract and the cold hard edges of the sqaures and rectangles provide dramatic juxtaposition of moods. Excellent execution of a lovely idea earn this artwork its rightful place in this weeks features.

Now, everyone has gotta agree with me when I say, TEH SEX!
I can't really think of much more to say apart from wonderful modelling and use of materials to get what looks like an extremely close to completely photorealistic finish!


The Mighty V3 by ~XxWarbladexX
Ahhh im not usually a fan of character renders, but the detail in place in this one grabbed my attention in an instant, lovely pose and a very atmospheric background make this a piece well worthy of desktop love I think..
