There are so many wars lately. I even have difficult times to actually count how many wars are going on these days. So, I think we need some messages to be sent to all the decision makers out there to rethink their decisions again and to all the people so they can be more aware of this issue.

These are some of many great photos that I found in DA. Actually, there are many others great photos about war and peace. But I try not to be very political in this issue since many of those photos condemn or blame particular groups or people.

I happen to be one of those people who believe that Wars actually our responsibility, not just some people or groups. We are all responsible for all the decisions to enter war, though it might be directly or indirectly. The end of the the Vietnam War several decades ago, for example, shows how all kind of people (citizens, veterans, journalists, politicians, humanists, scholars, artists, etc) can be stand together to end one of the greatest and the biggest wars in the world.
So, stop making excuses and start to do something about it. There are still so many wars to be ended. Some are big and well exposed such as the the Middle Eastern conflicts and the African Countries conflicts. Many are underexposed such as the Northern Ireland conflict and the conflicts in some part of Asian countries. (for a more comprehensive list see [link]). You can writes articles, making photographs or arts, joining peace rallies, using your voting votes for the right people or at least starting to be more aware of what is happening in the world. Joining groups that promote peace can be a start.

The photos below are also example of what we can do to contribute the peace rally as what great photographers like Eddie Adams and Nick Ut did during Vietnam Wars. I’m sure there many more great deviations with the same messages. Too bad, I didn’t have enough time to find them all. Above all, I hope u like my selection. I tried to categorize them in two categories according to their message. So, pardon if I put them in the wrong category. The mistakes are all mine.
