reports, April 11, 2007What's the main difference between square format and other rectangular formats ? Well , I think that there's a different dynamic happening in square format photographs . The square format is a very stable format , and is itself a striking contrast to content (most content isn't as stable as a square). Hence, square format is capable of highlighting, showing off, or "framing" certain content (particularly content with a lot of movement, abstract content or irregular compositions) better than a rectangular one . (That's just me)
