reports, April 11, 2007Have you ever stumbled upon an amazing artist here at dA and wondered why you had never seen their work before and why they don't have a subscription? Some artists can't afford subscriptions or haven't met a kind hearted soul who would take the time to feature them. Here is your chance to spread kindness into someone else's life! There are so many amazing artists who would appreciate and use subscriptions to dA. Adopt-an-Artist will provide a list of artists who have been nominated to be adopted. Each news update (and journal by =bewarecalamity) will contain an updated list of artists who need to be adopted and a list of previous artist-orphans and their sponsers.
What can I do for my adopted artist?
You can do many creative things to adopt an artist! The most obvious one would be to buy a subscription for them. It doesn't have to be a full year, even 2 months is a very kind gesture! You can also pimp them in your journal, make them a journal CSS, and tell your friends about them!
How many can I adopt?
As many as you want! As long as you can support them!

Browse the list and go a head and adopt your artist! You're not required to inform me, but I'd love to know so I can feature you and your newly adopted artist!

~vk-red is a conceptual artist who raises the bars for all artists in her field.
~mtrutledge's photography grabs your attention for it's sheer earnestness and interesting perception.
~Lyzie's photography is pure sugar mixed with daises, if there were such a concoction. She is a dedicated photographer who loves to try new things.
