Today marks the beginning of the first contest I will be hosting here in DeviantART, but not only myself, I will be getting help from 2 other friends here at dA.
will be the hosts of this contest.

This contest is a tribute to Yuki Kajiura's music. She's a marvelous musician, and her music is so deep, simply majestic.

These will be the rules of the contest:
1.- Listen to the following 3 songs of Yuki Kajiura:

I talk to the rain (Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle) [link]
Click on the links to watch a video with the song in case you don't have them, or if you would like to get them, just note any of us with your email and will email you the songs.
**All the videos featured are Kingdom Heart tributes for all the fans out there.
2.- Choose one of these songs, and from that song select the fragment of the lyrics that you liked the most.

Can't find them? Note about it to get assistance.
3.- Create a deviation inspired on that song, that includes that fragment of the lyrics (untranslated) in it somewhere. We're accepting pretty much any kind of deviation, both literature and the rest of the visual arts.
4.- Submit your deviation in a note to if it is Digital Art or related, to if it is Traditional Art or related, and to if it is Literature or Photography. The subject of the note should be "YK Contest" please.
5.- You're in!

Other:
- Participants may submit up to 3 deviations, and only one per song.
- Entry deadline is June 29, 2007
- Judging will start on June 30, 2007
- Winners will be announced once the judging is over, and prizes will be handed out afterwards.

Prizing:
There will be 1 winner per song.
That winner will receive the following so far:
Journal feature until August 1, 2007 in 's journals
a drawing of the winner's theme choice by
a fractal in(or not, they choose) a collage of the winner's theme choice by
a fractal with a poem by
and any other prizes that anyone else would like to donate.
the 2nd and 3rd places of ea song will also be featured for a week in 's journal

We're still looking for prize donators, and we'd really appreciate it if you want to help us with the prizing. If you do, please note with "contest prize" as the subject. Thanks. All prize donators will participate in the preliminary judging and receive a 2-week journal feature in our journals.
If you would like to apply for final judging, you must meet 2 requirements: Be a prize donator, and have previously listened to Yuki Kajiura's music before this contest. We'll only accept a limited number of finalist judges.
