All throughout April, we will be hosting some short writing contests to the forums with various styles and prompts. These will be posted on Monday and will close Friday at midnight GMT.
Weekly prizes will be handed out, as well as prizes for the entire month, for things such as frequency of participation and overall quality.
Week 2: Results
After careful deliberation, the winner of the second April Agon weekly contest in the literature forums has been decided.
Congratulations to ~lovetodeviate for her innovative, well-written entry The dogs are howling. She will receive a 3-month subscription, as well as a lit-themed mug.
Well done to all the participants. There were even more quality entries this week. Hopefully the trend will continue into week 3...
April Agon Week 3: Parody
This week's task is to write a parody of a famous poem or story (something outside of dA familiar enough that most lit people will get a chuckle from your entry). The limits are 40 lines for poetry and 1,000 words for prose.
