There have been many awe-inspiring heroes and villains (See a list here) since the dawn of the comic book. Since the creation of the motion picture many fictional characters have graced the silver screen.

Thats all fine, but what about the real people behind the books and movies? What about you? Are you or someone you know a hero?

With that, I'd like to announce my very first contest.


Contest:
Theme: You're a Hero

What to do:
1) Draw a real person using a medium of your choice.
2) Give them:
- a Hero-like costume
- a 'super' name
- whatever 'extra-ordanary' powers you want
- a short background story

3) Give the deviation the title "I'm a Hero Contest"
4) Post a link to this Journal entry in the description.
5) In this Journal entry, post the link to your entry before June 1, 2007.

Prizes:
- First: 1 Year Subscription (or $34 via PayPal).
- Second: 6 Month Subscription to DeviantArt (or $18 via PayPal).
- Third: 3 Month Subscription to DeviantArt (or $6 via PayPal).

Terms and Conditions:
Must not already be a subscriber.
The artwork must be created for the contest only and made by you.
You must add the link to the contest in the deviation description.
Maximum of 3 submissions per deviant.
Moderate nudity is allowed
