Three-way avatar fight!

After a period without many fads, three hit the forums this month!

=mngamojemo's was first, involving a Batman trend - Batman villains in avatars.

Then ~Mahkohime started the April flower's trend - [link] has more information.

Finally, and possibly the most widespread, poketars! ~PokeDexPLZ had to be set up to cope with the demand, a fad intially set up by @mykel and =Chimpantalones, but now with many helpers :3

Counter-threads

There was an overload of counter threads complaints this month. I mean overload: the "I punched a wall and now there's blood everywhere" stretched too thirteen counter-threads, and about 24 threads made of the subject over all. I was going to link them, but there's just too many! As well as that, there was "That bitch _____ is _____" - consisting of some self-complaints, "I'm ____ godammit!", colour-based ones, and "Boycott counter-threads!" which of course lead to counterthreads.

I'm probably missing out on loads, but honestly I think it kinda proves how stale the Complaints Forum is becoming.

_{For those who don't know, a counter-thread is a thread which parodies another thread. Can be funny, but not if it happens 13 times. Example: [link] and [link]}

Seniorship!

A few more forumers became seniors this month: `summaro, `StJoan, `VernonX9000, `nosugarjustanger, `Lakaia and probably some others I forgot.

Forum Lessons!

A new, and possibly one-off feature, here I hope to give lessons and tips on the forums.

Lesson 1: Spelling and grammar.

It may not strike you as the most important part of a forum post, but believe me, it is. No matter how funny, witty or intelligent your post is, bad spelling and grammar will undermine it.

Use capital letters, punctuation and spacing your paragraphs for easier reading, and check your spelling.

Not good at spelling? Firefox has a in-built spelling checker (right click a field to activate), and as a added bonus, there's some great plug-ins for the forums on dA for firefox.
